Dublin Roaming Notes


As the largest urban park in Europe, the wild deer herds here are the true owners. One autumn morning, I sat on the lawn with my steaming Bread 41 and was suddenly surrounded by a dozen deer - the dewdrops on their eyelashes reflecting the morning light, and the sound of chewing grass leaves healing more than any white noise.

Starting from the ruins of Ashtown Castle in the southwest corner of the park, walking along the forest path to Wellington Monument, you will encounter the most fearless herd of deer. When the April cherry blossom path is snowing, remember to look up at the trembling light pink clouds on the branches
